Horizonte de Eventos

Event Horizon

Every nuke you fire feeds the black hole.

Year 2291. Over the mining planetoid ABYSS hangs The Eye, a primordial black hole. Two factions fight for it with nuclear warheads, and every detonation makes it hungrier. A Worms-style artillery game built in a game jam themed "black holes and nuclear bombs": The Eye bends every shot, drifts across the map and swallows whatever crosses its horizon.

Alduran

What sleeps under the hill cannot dream on its own. So it borrows.

Salobra is a coastal village at the foot of the Broken Hill, and for seven years its people have been dying in their sleep. Lie down beside someone who is sleeping and go in after the thing that steals their dreams. One to four players share a seeded valley for an hour or two: fight, trade, harvest, build, and decide what to do about the hill. Four endings, and the valley keeps a karma score on you that prices everything you buy.

  • A living valley: farms, a witch in the woods, raids, storms and snow
  • Day and night cycle and live weather
  • Row a boat, jump cliffs, fish the coast
  • Four mutually exclusive endings

Patagonia Muerta

When the wind blows, the dead come back.

Winter of 1998, the far south of Santa Cruz. A storm buries the region under a strange grey snow, the roads close, and the radios start broadcasting the voices of people who are already dead. Elena Aguirre drives south to find Julián and never reaches town. A classic survival horror with pre-rendered backgrounds and fixed cameras, set in the oil fields and ranches of Argentine Patagonia.

  • A prologue and six chapters
  • Pre-rendered backgrounds and fixed cameras
  • Tank or modern controls, keyboard or gamepad
  • Shotgun, Mauser, FAL, axe and facón

02Platforms

Platforms we built

Not every game we design is ours to sell. We also build game models and platforms for others.

Team-building platform · Cooperative games

Experiencia RPG

Everyone sees a piece. The team wins only if it talks.

Experiencia RPG started as live-action role play in Buenos Aires and grew into a platform for companies. We designed its game model: cooperative missions played in the browser for team building, onboarding and training, where information is split between players so no one can win alone. Real-time multiplayer with a Game Master panel, lobby, briefing and debrief, for remote or on-site teams.

03Open source

Open source, all the way down.

We are a small studio because we can be. Free tools, open art and people who share their work made that possible, so we pay it forward.

01

Godot first

Every game we make runs on Godot, the MIT-licensed engine that belongs to everyone. No royalties, no runtime fees, no black boxes: if something breaks, we can read the source and fix it.

02

Open art, credited

Alduran stands on the Liberated Pixel Cup; our jam game on Kenney and OpenGameArt CC0 packs. Every asset we did not make is credited with its author and license.

03

We give back

Our own open-source work, like the Audio Tools synthesizers, and the tools and lessons that come out of building these games. What we learn goes back out.

Two bears, one forge

A programmer and a QA tester walk into a studio. That is the whole team, and it is enough.
